Saint Bridget

Brigid’s cross or Brigit’s cross (Irish: Cros Bhríde, Crosóg Bhríde or Bogha Bhríde) is a small variant of the cross often woven from straw or rushes. It appears in many different shapes, but the most popular designs feature a woven diamond or lozenge in the centre. The cross is named for the Christian saint Brigid of Kildare or the Pagan goddess Brigid.

Each year pupils make the cross that later on is blessed by local priest and then sent home.

Maths week

Maths week takes place from October 15th till 23rd. All classes take part in Mathematics related games, quizzes and activities indoors and outdoors.

The last day of Maths week is spend together, working together as one! It is very enjoyable day for all pupils, as it is great chance to see their younger and older schoolmates in different atmosphere.
